From Ever’s Perspective

We met on a holiday, a day that was supposed to be spent at the beach. But as fate would have it, plans changed last minute with friends, and I found myself at a different gathering. I remember noticing John’s friends mingling with mine, and then I saw him. He was looking at me, clearly trying to grab my attention.

John started trying to strike up a conversation, but I decided to play a little hard to get. I thought it might make me seem more interesting. But then he said something that grabbed my attention fully: he asked me to focus on him. His confidence was intriguing. He insisted on having dinner the next day, and I couldn’t resist his charm.

Since that day, we’ve been seeing each other every single week without fail. John is incredibly charming, he listens to me, and he’s a wonderful lover. Every day, without fail, he tells me he loves me before the day ends. He says he appreciates my consistency and that I’m still as interesting to him as I was the first day we met.

I spotted Ever and immediately told my friend that I thought he was cute. My friend encouraged me to go talk to him, so I did, despite not knowing exactly what to say.

I kept trying to grab his attention, and thankfully, Ever put up with my silly and sometimes dumb attempts at conversation. I always find myself laughing and smiling when I’m with him.
